San Rosendo was the son of a tycoon Ordoño II court. For his rare talents and virtues, and very young, he was consecrated bishop. He defended his country against the incursions of the Normans and Saracens. Fleeing the intrigues and persecution, he retired to the Benedictine monastery of Celanova, founded by himself. († 977).
Rosendo (907 - 977) was a Galician Church, canonized by the Catholic Church with the name of San Rosendo. He was abbot and founder of several monasteries, including Celanova, bishop of Mondoñedo and a major political figure in Galicia in the tenth century Leonese king's viceroy Fruela II.

It was the fourth of eight children of Prince Ulf and his wife Gudinarsson Birgesdotter Birgitta, who is none other than St. Brigid, whose feast the Church celebrates on 9 October. Girl's education was entrusted to the abbess of the monastery Cistercian Riseberga. By decision father was married at sixteen to the Nobleman and virtuous Count Egardo Lydersson van Kyrene. is the founder of Monforte parents and the Sisters of Wisdom. Born in Montfort, France, in 1673. The eldest of a family of eight children. From a young age was a great devotee of the Blessed Virgin. At 12 years and people saw him spending time on his knees before the statue of the Mother of God. Before going to school in the morning and after school in the afternoon, going to kneel before the statue of Our Lady and there was as ecstatic. When he left the temple after having been praying to the Heavenly Queen, her eyes shone with a special glow.
San Luis died in April 1716, at the age of 43, exhausted so much work and preaching.
